Do you have a crystal ball? 🔮 Oh, well, I don’t either. Right now, there’s never been a better time to sell your home, but that may not always be the case. Hi, I’m Natasha Carroll, here with Natasha Carroll Realty. In fact, I’ve been in the Real Estate industry for 10 plus years, and the market we’re experiencing now, is similar to the real estate market back in 2008, when it was very similar to what it is now. Prices were booming, we were seeing multiple offers, we received bidding wars, buyers were fighting over properties and big enough properties so high that they weren’t even appraising. It was almost like overnight. We went from having it to be a total sellers market, to being a buyer’s market. It truly was insane. We went from having no inventory, to having a surplus of inventory. That, in conjunction with the bad mortgages, caused the real estate market to crash. People were losing their homes left and right, to the shift.

Also think of this, if you sell your home 🏡 and you get a surplus of money that you weren’t expecting, because the market is so strong right now, that means you also have more money to purchase a higher price home in the future. Also keep in mind that the higher the price of the home, typically, there is less competition. ‘Cause the lower prices homes now, there’s so much competition. You’ll still most likely be competing just like the buyers are for the homes you are selling. But if you’re moving up ⬆️ and not down⬇️ into a different price point, chances are, it won’t be as competitive as what you’ve experienced when you sold your home.
