Well, in this video series, I’m going to be going over 5️⃣ reasons why you should sell your home this spring. Oh, and before I get into the reasons why you should sell, I know many sellers are worried about selling and being homeless. There are plenty of things that we can discuss to make sure that doesn’t happen. And we can talk about that more when we actually meet.
The imbalance between high buyer demand and low supply of available homes on the market are giving sellers the upper hand 👆. The fact is there just aren’t enough homes for sale. Inventory is low. The lack of supply increases demand, which means the price you can sell your home will increase. Purchasers’ demand is so high that the market is running out of homes to sell. Here’s a quote from realtor.com, “Nationally, the inventory of homes for sale in February decreased by 48.6% over the past year, a higher rate of decline compared to 42.6% drop in January.” This amounted to 496,000 fewer homes for sale compared to February of last year. The average days on market, nationally, is 21, but here in Houston it’s 40 days. Also, the National Association of Realtors also shows that home sales are skyrocketing, but the homes for sale, number of homes for sale are plummeting.
